Formed in Pawley's Island in 1999, Sawgrss incorporates varied musical influences. Out emerges a style that the band refers to as AcoustiLectric BluesGrass.
Red Emotion Riot (fmr. Kid Drew Band)
A well-known local talent: their hard rocking blues are reminisce of Stevie Ray Vaughn, Robert Johnson, and John Lee Hooker.
Shrimp City Slim
Also known as Gary Erwin of SCS, coordinator of the Lowcountry Blues Bash, this South Carolina-based musician/singer/songwriter is a purveyor of "Lowcountry Blues and Original Songs."
Menace to Sobriety
Fills the PIT with many fun nights throughout the year, including their annual St. Patrick's Day party.
