Drop in to the PIT!

The Pawleys Island Tavern, or "PIT" for short, is a restaurant and bar in the lowcountry of South Carolina.

We serve lunch and dinner daily from Tuesday until Sunday. For lunch, we offer $5.95 "Blue Plate" Specials. Dinner features our Chef’s culinary delights inspired by seasonal ingredients. The Pawleys Island Tavern sports a lowcountry, family-friendly atmosphere firmly embedded in local style.

The PIT has items on its menu for any kind of taste, from steak to seafood. We also offer home-made desserts and a full bar that includes local brews by New South Brewing Company and Firefly Vodkas.

New for 2013! Charles Freeman of Ten Toes Up hosts Team Rockin' Bingo every Tuesday.

The Pawleys Island Tavern is closed on Monday.

Happy Hour! Every Tuesday-Sunday, from 4-7 PM! Foosball is now on our rockin' back porch!

Weather permitting, the out-front Tiki Bar kicks off the weekend early, opening at 4:00 PM on Thursdays.

For the businessperson out to dinner or you folks just trying to keep in touch, we are Wi-Fi capable.
